Relaxing after diving The Gap
Relaxing after a Club dive at The Colours
The Club plans shore and boat dives around the Sydney area. Around Sydney we mostly use the services of members' boats. We currently have six boats in the Club, capable of carrying a total of about 33 divers. These boats are driven by some of the most experienced divers in Sydney and our members know the best dive sites, ones not even visited by charter operators.

Regular dives are:

  • Most Wednesdays we have a boat dive
  • Every Thursday we have a night dive
  • Deep wreck dive the first Saturday of each month (only for suitably experienced divers)
  • Deep wreck dive the third Saturday of every third month (only for suitably experienced divers)
  • As well as the above, we plan many boat dives a month. Normally at least one is out of Port Hacking on every Saturday (when there are not other dives planned) and the rest are mostly out of Port Hacking or Botany Bay but we do some dives from Sydney Harbour. These are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Shore dives are held about twice a month, mostly on the south side of the City. See the local dive photos page for photographs from such a dive.

As well, many members of the club dive every weekend with each other on non-Club planned dives. These are on members' boats or quite often, shore dives. Most of the boats go out at least once every weekend. The Club is one of the most active in the Sydney area.

For more information about local Sydney diving, see Michael McFadyen's Scuba Diving Web Site.
