We believe that St George Scuba Club is Sydney's friendliest and most active independent dive club, run by and for its members.

As well as local diving, we organise trips within NSW and Australia, as well as overseas. In 2008 there are trips to the Great Barrier Reef, Chuuk Lagoon, Papua New Guinea and Palau.

For 2009, we have planned trips (with many members already booked) to Tasmania, the Great Barrier Reef, Thailand, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. We also have a week at the Solitary Islands, two weeks at Nelson Bay, weekends at Eden/Merimbula, Jervis Bay (two), Nelson Bay, Forster, Norah Head, Shellharbour, Ulladulla and South West Rocks. We also have a ski weekend and a 4WD weekend as well as a "girls dive weekend" at Nelson Bay. There are also about 103 boat dives and over 60 shore dives.

A survey of members shows that during 2007, members did an average of 72 dives, of which 55 dives were with the Club or members of the Club and 14 were night dives.
